Butternut Squash And Cheese Tortellini
Instructions
1. Cook Squash in a saucepan of boiling salted water for 3 minutes. Add tortellini; cook according to pkg. instructions and until squash is tender. Drain pasta and squash; set aside.
2. Heat oil in a skillet. Add ham and cook until lightly browned, drain on a paper towel. In the same skillet, over medium heat, melt butter with the drippings. Add sage and cook until butter browns, about 4 minutes; remove and discard sage. Stir in chicken broth and sugar; cook until sugar melts.
3. Add in squash, tortellini and ham, toss to heat through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
