Caterpillar Sandwich
Instructions
First, cut the size of cardboard you need. Cover with tinfoil and then plastic wrap. Or, you can use any serving platter you may have. With the round cookie cutter, cut a circle from each slice of bread. Decide how many round sandwiches you need first. Once you have the round bread make your favorite sandwiches. Then, begin to assemble taking a toothpick and sticking it in the cardboard at one end corner and if you use a platter place a spoonful of peanut butter in the toothpicks place. This is used to prop the end of the caterpillar up. Place the first round sandwich against that toothpick. From there, place each round sandwich creating a curved caterpillar body. When finished - its time to place the carrot legs on each side of the caterpillar. Insert about 3-inch long carrots into sandwiches for the legs. You can also use celery. To make the face, spread mayonnaise or mayonnaise-type sandwich dressing on the front sandwich. Cut one stuffed olive in half for the eyes, use dill for the eyelashes, carrot tip for the nose and red pepper for the mouth. Around the face you can use dill or celery leaves for hair. For the hat, attach a radish top with a toothpick to a cucumber slice. Remove all toothpicks before eating. If you would like, you can use broccoli, cauliflower and candies to place around the caterpillar to create bushes and flowers. To secure the veggie bushes you can use veggie cream cheese.
