Chocolate Cake Recipe with Vanilla Frosting for Tonya in Ukraine.
Instructions:
In one bowl mix 2 cups hot water with 1 cup cocoa powder - set aside until cool
In separate bowl mix
2-1/4 cups sugar with 1 cup softened butter
4 eggs one at a time
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2-3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix in cocoa with dry ingredients half & half in two steps
Pour into 14" x 10" coated pan
Bake for 35 minutes at 325 degrees
Wait until cool
Spread with frosting add chocolate chips, sprinkles, nuts whatever you like!
