Preparation Directions:
~ Beat butter at medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating until just until blended after each addition.
~ Stir together flour cocoa, and baking soda. Add to butter mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Beat on low speed until blended after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
~ Fill paper lined muffin cups, that have been sprayed with cooking spray, 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until done. Cool completely before frosting.
