Deep Fried Cornish Game Hen
Instructions
Season Game hen with: Italian Seasoning, Onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper and then fill with stuffing and cover hens with flour. Fry in enough vegetable oil to cover hens. Allow enough room in your pot for boiling. The oil will bubble.
The Stuffing: 4 tbsp of butter, 3 cups cornbread crumbs (use whatever crumbs you prefer), 1 cup chicken broth, 4 tbsp of small diced onion, celery, and bell pepper, 2 tbsp minced garlic, and lb. of cooked bacon.
