Festive Shortbread Cookies

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F(176 degrees C).
2. Combine butter, sugar, vanilla, flour and salt in a large bowl and blend them.
3. Mix them with hand and shape into a ball.
4. Plastic wrap the ball and chill for half an hour.
5. Roll the ball flat with a roller unto a flour surface.
6. Cut them with a cookie cutter into various shapes.
7. Add colored sprinkles over them.
8. Put the cookies over a baking sheet.
9. Place the sheet in the oven and bake them for 8 minutes
