How To Bake Asparagus

Instructions

Step 1: Baked Asparagus Ingredients

Four spears of washed asparagus
Capful of olive oil
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)1

Baking sheet
Tin foil
Zip-lock bag or rectangular container1
Step 3: Baked Asparagus Recipe

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Lay the cleaned asparagus spears in the bottom of a zip-lock bag or rectangular container.
Coat the asparagus with a capful or quick spray of olive oil.
Gently shake the spears around in the bag or container.
Open the container or bag (keep the bag open by pushing the sides in).
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Gently shake to coat the spears in the mixture of oil, salt and pepper.
Lay the spears out on the tin foil-covered baking sheet, leaving plenty of space between them.
Place in the pre-heated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
When the spears are bright green and a fork can easily be inserted, turn off the oven and remove them. The tips should be slightly browned.
