How To Clean Squids
Instructions
First of all, remove the head from the body, and pull out the transparent pen-shaped bone.
Then remove the entrails by pressing gently the body.
Peel off carefully the outer membrane.
Now clean the tentacles: with a knife, cut just above the eyes.
Push out the central tooth from the tentacles and discard.
Once finished, rinse the body and the tentacles under running water.
At this point, you can cut the squids as desired: into rings for frying, leave them whole for stuffing or cut them open for stewing.
