Individual Carmel Flans

Instructions

1) Heat half a cup of sugar with 2 tbsp water. Stir until it dissolves. When it has already dissolved, stop stirring and wait for it to turn golden brown. Pour and coat into sides and bottom of ramican dishes.
2) Beat two egg yolks. Slowly add 1/4 cup sugar.
3) Slowly add hot milk into the egg mixture.
4) Add 1 tsp vanilla mixture.
5) Place custard cups into a casserole halfway filled with hot water.
6) Fill the ramicans with the custard and bake for 40 minutes at 350 deg F.
7) Cover with plastic wrap and chill them while still hot.
