Lasagne Bolognese Original Italian Recipe

In order to prepare a good lasagne Bolognese, the right choice of the ingredients is crucial: firstly, you should mix half beef meat and half pork meat, so that the recipe will be more tasty; secondly, the tomato puree should be very good quality; lastly, the lasagne itself should be first-rate, even if making it by yourself would be better.
Whoever thinks that lasagne is a quite recent dish, is wrong; the history of this excellent recipe is rooted indeed in the Roman Age.
Of course in that period lasagne was not the same as nowadays: it consisted of some squarish pasta strips which were boiled or griddled, and seasoned with pulses and cheese.
