Puffy Glazed Fig Tree Dessert
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit. Cut puff pastry into triangles, place on a nonstick baking sheet, bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown, remove and let cool. Rehydrate figs for 1 hour if using dried figs, cut in half. In a nonstick pan on medium heat, add 2 tbs butter then add figs and cook for 3-5 minutes. Next add salt, honey, nutmeg and cinnamon, stir and let cook for 3 minutes, let cool for 5-10 minutes. In a nice dish, start with one piece of pastry, add 1 tbs of mascarpone cheese and then figs and glaze, repeat as desired and garnish with mint leaves.
