Thanksgiving Poached Pear

Instructions

1) Heat simple sugar syrup (sugar and water).
2) Prepare the poaching liquid by mixing ginger, bay leaves, pepper corns, and equal part of grenadine or pomegranate juice and white wine.
3) Peel the pear leaving top and bottom skin.
4) Poach the pear by putting it into the poaching liquid.
