Aaloo Gosht (meat Curry With Potatoes)

Instructions

Fry the onion in oil till golden brown. Remove the onion from heat and grind to a paste. Return to original pot, add a little water and cook for 5 minutes on medium high heat.

Add turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garlic, ginger, salt in the oil. Also add the cloves, cardamom and whole black pepper. Fry with until the misture dries enough that the oil separates from the mixture.

Add Lamb to the mixture and cook until meat is brown, stirring frequently for about 5-7 minutes. Then add 3 to 4 glasses of water, cover yje pot and cook until the meat is tender.

When meat is almost done add the potatoes and cook till the potatoes are cooked and the required gravy is left.

Garnish with fresh corriander, green chilies
