Asian Style Seared Tilapia

Instructions

Cut fish in half and season with salt and pepper. In a hot skillet add in the oil until smoking, then add in the fish. Add in the butter around the fish to help brown it. Flip the fish over after 3-4 minutes and finish in the oven on 350 degrees for 5-7 minutes. Once the fish is cooked set it aside, and in the same pan add in ginger, garlic and tomatoes. Saute for a few minutes cooking the bite out of the raw ginger and garlic. Deglaze with soy and finish with fresh cilantro. Add tomato mixture on top of the tilapia and enjoy!
