Braised Mussels With Garlic, Thyme & French Baguette

Instructions

1. In a hot skillet add in olive oil, garlic, and shallots and caramelize.
2. Once caramelized add in mussels and saute for 3-4 minutes, deglaze with chardonnay and further reduce
3.. Add in chicken stock and fresh thyme and braise for 7-8 minutes. While braising slice up french bread, baste with olive oil and toast in oven on 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
4. Once bread is done place in the center of a bowl.
5. Finish mussels with salt, pepper. and whole butter.
6. Pour over the french bread and enjoy!
