Burger Steak

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, beaten egg, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix until well blended. Make a burger patty shape and set aside. Grill or fry over medium-high heat, until both sides brown. Place on a platter.

To make a sauce or gravy: Melt butter in a pot and pour in 3/4 cup of stock. Wait until the butter dissolves. Add flour little by little while continuously stirring. Continue stirring over low heat until flour is fully dissolved and the mixture changes to a light brown. Add the remaining stock and keep stirring until sauce is thickens.

Saute button mushroom in the same pan and pour over the gravy. Stir and simmer for few minutes. Pour the sauce or gravy over burger patty and serve with steamed rice.
