Drunken Banana Bread French Toast
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
3. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar.
4. Mash bananas with liqueur. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.
5. Stir in flour mixture
6. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
7. Bake in preheated oven for 55 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
8. Cut bread into slices
9. Mix 2 eggs and evaporated milk
10. Soak bread in eggs then grill on a skillet coated with butter until done
11. Combine butter and sugar for topping
12. Add banana liqueur and stir
13. Raise skillet and add brandy, tilt pan towards flame to create a flamb.
14. Mix in sliced bananas an pour topping onto the toast.
