Home Made French Toast Recipe with Bread from Scratch
Instructions:
Heat 1 - 1/3 cups water to 110 degrees
Add 1 tablespoon sugar
1 package yeast (.25 oz.)
Wait at least 10 minutes until foamy
In mixing bowl combine:
4 cups bread flour
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
Mix and then knead 5 minutes
Cover in coated bowl for 1 hour
Knead an additional 5 minutes
Cover in bread pan for another hour
Bake for 28 minutes at 400 degrees
Spread butter on top
French toast
Add 2 eggs to 1/4 cup evaporated milk and mix
Soak thick slices of bread
Grill with butter until golden brown
