Holiday Mushroom Turnovers

Instructions

1) Put 1/2 cup butter and 9 oz cream cheese in a food processor. Add 1 1/2 cups flour and pulse again.
2) For dough into a ball and chill it for about 30 mins.
3) Sautee 3 tbsp butter, 1/2 large onion, a 16 oz white button mushrooms.
4) Sprinkle 2 tbsp flour, pinch of salt, dry Spanish thyme, black pepper, and add 1/4 cup sour cream.
5) Roll dough to 1/8 in thick.
6) Cut 3 in-diameter circles with the dough. You can use rim of your glass
7) Add 1/2 tsp of filling and place in center of turnovers and fold them over and shut the edges using your fingers.
8) Place them in an un-greased cooking sheet and bake them at 450 deg F for about 12 minutes.
9) Let them cool and freeze them until you want them served. When you want to serve them, bake them again for 5 minutes.
