How To Make Martha Stewart's Wilted Arugula
Instructions
Wash and dry the arugula. Set aside.
Heat the olive oil in the large skillet over low or medium heat. Tilt the pan to coat it evenly and allow it to warm for a few seconds.
Place the garlic in the pan. Allow it to cook for a minute or two, but do not let it brown.
Add the arugula to the skillet. Toss the mixture to coat the arugula with garlic and oil.
Continue to stir as the arugula wilts. The arugula should not fry or become crispy, just wilt down a bit.
Drizzle the arugula with the balsamic vinegar. Toss until well combined.
Season with salt and pepper, then toss again. Remove from heat.
Transfer to a serving plate, then serve.1
