Pancit Bihon Guisado
Instructions
Presoak rice stick noodles in warm water - at least 3 hours. Drain and set aside.
Heat cooking oil in pan. Saute onion and garlic until fragrant. Add pork or chicken, tofu and saute until meat turns light brown.
Season with ginisa mix, soy sauce, pork or chicken cubes and add water. Stir well until dissolved and well blended.
Place the carrots, cabbage, and celery in the pan. Mix and simmer until half cooked.
Put in pancit bihon noodles making sure to cover rice sticks with soy sauce and vegetables. Mix thoroughly until rice sticks cook well. Salt and pepper to taste. Turn off the heat and put on the cover. Leave sit for for 5 - 10 minutes.
Serve on a platter. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and calamansi or lemon juice on the side.
