Peach Cobbler

Instructions

1) Heat peaches syrup, brown sugar, salt, mace and cornstarch. Whisk.
2) Add lemon juice and butter.
3) Transfer peaches to a casserole or baking dish. Add the syrup over the top of the peaches.
4) Combine top crust ingredients in another bowl: flour, sugar, baking powder, butter, and salt.
5) Top the peaches with the batter. Add pats of butter all over the dish and sprinkle brown sugar over the top.
6) Bake for 25-35 minutes at 400 deg F.
