Pilau Rice

Instructions

Soak rice in cold water for approx 30 then drain and rinse.
Melt the butter in a heavy saucepan.
Add in all the spices and salt.
Stir in the rice until it is coated in butter and spices.
Add in the boiling water.
Cover with a tight fitting lid and simmer for approx 15 minutes on the lowest heat setting. Do not stir in the meantime.
