Southern Shrimp And Grits

Instructions

1. In a pot, pour the chicken broth. Add some milk. When boil, stir in 1 cup of grits. Lower the heat and wait until the grit tenders.
2. Add salt, pepper, and butter. Stir up. Set aside.
3. In a pan, heat up some olive oil. Fry the sausage. Cook until brown. Put in a plate and set aside.
4. Next, fry the shrimp (quick only). When pink already, put in a plate and set aside.
5. Saute onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. When tender already, add the thyme. Wait for about a minute.
6. Add the heavy cream and thickened it. Add the cream cheese. Add a little more pepper and salt. Wait until all the cheese melted.
7. Add now the sausage and the shrimp. Mix well.
8. Put some grits on the plate, add the mixture of sausage and shrimp. Add some green onion on top of it.
