Sweet and Sour Pork Recipe - Chinese food

Instructions:

Remove fat from 1/2 pound pork shoulder and cut into 1" x 1/2" pieces

Sauce:
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon plum sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 sliced shallot
sliced ginger pieces
dash sesame oil
Bring to a boil then set aside on simmer

Deep Fry:
Combine pork with egg. Coat thoroughly in 1/4 cup regular bread crumbs, 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Fry in 350 degree oil until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towel. Remove oil from wok. Add sauce to hot wok, bring to a boil. Add a little corn starch and water to thicken. Stir in pork and tropical fruit pieces. Serve piping hot!
