Tonjiru Japanese Pork & Vegetable Miso Soup

Instructions

Soak gobo strips in water for about 5 minutes and drain.
Heat a little bit of vegetable oil in a deep pot and saute pork on medium heat.
Further, add konnyaku, potato, carrot, gobo, and daikon in the pot and saute together.
Pour dashi in the pot and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until vegetables are softened, skimming off any foam or impurities that rise to the surface.
Season with miso and cook for about a minute.
