1. Have all ingredients at room temperature.
2. With an electric mixer, blend all ingredients, except pecans, until smooth and creamy.
3. Shape into a ball.
4. Refrigerate until beginning to set, and then roll in pecans.
5. Serve with butter-style crackers or fresh vegetables.
