Clams Casino Appetizers

Instructions

1. On high heat, place clams in pan and have them heated for a couple of minutes. Add water and steam them for about 5 minutes.
2. Cut 2 bacon into 12 pieces. Cook bacon with butter.
3. Take bacon out and replace with diced red bell pepper and finely minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Turn off heat and transfer to mixing bowl.
4. Add the bread crumbs, ground black pepper, a pinch of salt, a couple of drops of Worcestershire sauce, and Parmesan cheese.
5. When the clams are cool enough to handle, loosen the clam from the shell and top the clam with the bread crumb mixture and top it then with the bacon cut.
6. Nestle the clams on a bed of rock salt and broil it for about 5-6 minutes. Top with fresh parsley and drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
