Garlic Pickle

Instructions


Heat the oil in a pan, add the garlic cloves and turmeric powder and saut over low heat till they are soft (approx. 3 to 4 minutes), stirring continuously.
Add the lemon juice and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the chilli powder, jaggery and salt and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes or till the jaggery has dissolved.
Add the masala powder to the cooked garlic mixture and mix thoroughly.
Remove from the fire, cool and bottle in a sterilised glass jar.
Store upto 3 months in a cool dry place. This pickle is ready for eating after 1 week.
