White Linguini & Clam Sauce

Instructions

1. Drain clams; reserve 1/2 cup liquid.
2. Saut onions and garlic in olive oil until onions are slightly colored.
3. Add reserved clam liquid, wine, oregano, and red pepper; stir in flour and tomato paste.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Cook linguine according to package directions; drain well.
5. Add clams and mushrooms to sauce and simmer 2 minutes.
6. Add sauce to linguine and mix well.
7. Serve while hot.
